After a lengthy nursing career, I changed directions to my family real estate brokerage and have stayed committed to the market changes and my loyal clients for 23 years. I’ve worked with first time home buyers, relocating sellers, empty nesters, growing families and those with unfortunate circumstances that cause buyers and sellers to make difficult decisions. I especially enjoy move up buyers with growing families to which I sold their first home. In 2013 I had a near fatal accident when I came off my horse and broke my neck. I had a hang-mans break which is fatal to most. I spent 6 months in a halo and 2 months in a neck brace. It forever changed my life. I make sure everyday counts because each day is a bonus. I try hard to never pro- crastinate or waste a day. I came out of this accident a better, stronger person. God never left my side. His hand was on my shoulder through it all. I know how blessed I am. I’m not al- ways worthy of this blessing but I am forever grateful.

A student of the school of life, and I’m still attending. Being married for nearly half a century to the same man has made me patient, thoughtful and a very grate- ful lady. We have three children and two absolutely adorable grandchildren. (They really are). Our journey in life has taken us from north to south. Born and raised in Southwest Minnesota, our youth was spent walking bean fields pulling weeds and picking rock or de-tasseling corn. My adult time there was spent growing, learning and working for an engineering firm.

In the early 80’s when it was difficult to make a living in the Midwest, friends encouraged us to move……..way south. Louisiana here we come. We made just about every change that could be made, from climate to culture. Next was Waxa- hachie, Tx. After 8 years of working for Sprint, we were on the move again, this time to Missouri. That is were I started my real estate career. In 1991 I passed the dreaded exam and was off and running. In 2005 I became a

broker and opened Katy Trail Realty. Along with real estate we ran 100 head of mamma cows on 450 acres. Lots of long hours, but life was good. 2015 found us entering a new phase of life. My spouse retired, the grandkids beckoned and off we went again. We’ve called Springtown, Tx., home since then. Life is good.

I will do my very best to guide my clients through their first home purchase or their forever home, with patience, knowledge and a sincere wish to help.
